It’s been 123 days and counting since India as a nation started to experience a lock-down which means we have spent close to four months within the confines of our homes. Our lives, our plans all put to a pause. Never in our dreams had we imagined what we are experiencing. Most of us started the lock-down on a happy note of getting time to spend with family, working in the secure walls of our houses but as the time progressed, we started getting impatient and negative. Disturbing news on increasing cases, suicides and deaths of celebrities, boredom, lack of physical activities, increase screen time etc. adding to the woes. Most of us have gone into a shell and are worrying for what tomorrow holds for us, thus, forgetting to live today.

SfToday is a gift and that’s why it is called present. We all have read / heard the statement many times but how many of us have been able to implement it?

In a world where talking and meeting friends has been replaced with Facebook statuses and Whatsapp messages, where for every need , personal or professional, we enter the magical set of characters which read www.google.com, we have left behind the two magical words that if and when genuinely said bring a smile on the recipient’s face –  THANK YOU!
